Clarins, a leading European skincare and luxury fragrance company has an opening for a bright, motivated, and energetic California licensed Aesthetician in Palo Alto.

The Clarins Beauty Therapist has responsibility for carrying out the full range of Clarins Professional Treatments and ensuring a high standard of customer service. The Clarins Beauty Therapist will promote Clarins retail to all clients in order to achieve a client’s full experience.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provide an exceptional level of customer service and ensure a high standard of treatment skill and professional advice is given to every client.
• Maintain a Professional appearance and conduct to meet the Company’s & Department Store requirements at all times.
• Ensure all health and safety guidelines are followed in respect of the sterilization and storage of all equipment.
• Effectively promote the Clarins Skin Spa to new and existing Department Store customers.
• Correct execution of the company appointment booking procedure in order to maximize occupancy and achieve targets.
• Execute special events and promotions. Be flexible and attend any special events where and when needed.
• Lead and sell by example with a focus on:
o Performing professional facial treatments
o Consultations and the use of Beauty Prescription System
o Link-selling techniques
o Client Recall " phone follow-up for building relationships and rebooking services.
• To maintain a positive and energetic work attitude in terms of teamwork and team spirit.
• Participates in training sessions to obtain product knowledge, practical skills, selling skills, and guest service skills; utilizes those skills during guest interactions.

Experience/Skill Requirement:

A California Aesthetician license is required for this position!

The successful candidate will have a passion for the skincare and make-up industry, take initiative, and enjoy keeping busy to help grow the Skin Spa business. The Beauty Therapist must be able to work well with others as part of a team in a fun, fast paced, guest oriented environment.

We provide in-depth education on our skin care/make-up products, as well as Clarins selling techniques.
