Our Spa Estheticians are responsible for providing services related to the skin appearance such as facial and body skin care to our guests. Treatments applied by our Spa Estheticians include: facials, hydrafacials, facial massages, body scrubs, hair and scalp treatments and waxing services. You may at times be required to check in guests as they arrive and out upon departure, and to also schedule new appointments for guests. Our Spa Estheticians must have the knowledge to answer any questions guests or potential guests might have.They must have product knowledge and be able to assist guests in advising which type(s) of product to purchase. Estheticians are responsible for their room and treatment bin each shift, including cleaning and resetting the room prior to departure and reporting any items needed from Backbar.

Duties of our Spa Esthetician include:
Key Responsibilities (in no particular order):

Basic Role Duties
- Perform all spa services reflective of Naya protocols, including Aveda, Epionce and HydraFacial protocols
- Assess each client's skin condition, appearance and other characteristics
then advise guests about skin care in general and how to care for problem areas in particular
- Provide facial and other skin treatments using Aveda, Epionce and HydraFacial products and techniques
- Setup and takedown of esthetics rooms after performing services
- Remove body and facial hair
- Fill towel warmer with distilled water only at the beginning and end of each shift
- Establish relationships with guests, to promote guest retention
- At close of service: Obtain two items you recommend for your guest (based on what you heard during their treatment about their skin concerns); Complete a treatment plan for them to take home; Get water for your guest; wait for her/him to exit treatment room; Escort your guest to reception (or lounge if the guest would like) and explain treatment recommendations; Make handoff to Reception staff and thank your guest
- Follow up with guests (via email or text)
- Wiping down bottles and surfaces at the close of services with Clorox Bleach Wipes

Employee Duties
- Familiarize yourself with Google Drive and review all required documents upon hire and when assigned as further education and updates to Policies and Procedures
- Check your work email at the beginning of each shift for updates
- Attendance at staff meetings as planned by Manager
- Be available to work during each scheduled shift, including a 2 hour call time on the schedule for same day bookings
- Be clocked in and ready to work 15 minutes prior to any services
- Time off requests must be submitted 2 weeks prior to request dates (Note: Not all requests can be accommodated)
- Unexcused absences or chronic tardiness and absences will not be tolerated, please be reliable and timely, and help us give our guests the best experience possible
- If you are sick or unable to work, we require at least 2 hours notice, preferably 24 hours so that we may move/cancel your appointments as needed

Patient/Guest Education / Sales
- Educate guests on products available for purchase and sell products to guests to increase sales
- Inform guests of the monthly special and ask if they would like to purchase any specials
- Must have basic knowledge of Naya Memberships to help sell Memberships and benefits of each
- Give add on option in each service performed and why it would benefit your guest
- Conversion of our guests to other spa and medical treatments

Team Responsibilities
- Assist with basic housekeeping when time permits and when clocked in for hourly pay, including putting on laundry, folding laundry, cleaning dishes, emptying trash, etc.
- Assist reception with check in process: greeting guests, walking them to the lounge, getting them drinks/chocolates etc, taking dirty dishes out of lounge area
- Answering telephones when needed
- Familiarize yourself with our booking system and be able to use it.
